Quote of the Week
Our sorrows are all, like ourselves, mortal. There are no immortal sorrows for immortal souls. They come, but blessed be God, they also go. Like birds of the air, they fly over our heads. But they cannot make their abode in our souls. We suffer today, but we shall rejoice tomorrow.

Questions
Jaden has been asking a lot of questions lately. He is very curious about how things work, he also knows when you are not telling him the whole truth. Sometimes, conversations are difficult for me because I don't know how much I should tell him about certain things. Other times, conversations are just hysterical. This list of questions is just a few that I jotted down in the car the other day. He was in one of those moods, so I grabbed my pen so I could capture the moment. While you read these, I would like you to think about what your answers would be. As you try desperately to recall everything from 6th grade science class, or the last theology book you read, say a prayer for me. This is my life. ;)
1. Why do we have blood?
2. Does the blood help to make food into poo poo?
3. Can God change into different shapes?
4. Can God go into the vacuum and get Aubrey's sock out?
5. How does skin turn into grass? (an unfortunate food chain conversation gone awry)
6. Is God Jesus' Grandpa?
7. But what about his other Daddy? (Joseph)
8. Why does the Earth spin?
9. Why haven't I ever seen these Mountains before? (driving around the day after the storm)
10. Why do you say that God is Spirit, but Jesus says He has flesh and bones and is not a Spirit?
11. Are bones to scare people?
12. Then what are they for?
13. Why did Jesus die?
14. Do you want me to tell a joke?

A Wedding
January 31st, my little brother got married. =) We had a small ceremony at my parent's house which was absolutely beautiful. Ashley looked gorgeous, as usual, and we were thrilled to welcome her to our family. They have moved into a home in Hart Flat, near my parents, and are expecting baby Chase (my first nephew!) on the 28th of this month! Congratulations Steven and Ashley, we love you!
