Thanksgiving Weekend
We had a fun Thanksgiving! We spent Thursday and Friday up at my parent's house and the kids had a blast. Tony and my Dad were able to get some hunting in, and came home with a grey squirrel. We got to hang out with Uncle Buddy and Osh and even see their new house, which we loved. It was a nice time for us to relax and just reflect on how much we have to be thankful for. We are so blessed in so many ways. As we spent time with our three little ones we just felt overwhelmed by the precious gifts we've been given (lent), and the joy and laughter that they have brought into our lives. We know that all things come from Him and are so humbled by His mercy and goodness. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Quick Update on the Kiddos
These kids are keeping me awfully busy! I do want to occasionally jot down cute things they do/say so I will remember. So, here goes:
Jaden - Still "Jaden Mighty Knight". This is how he introduces himself to everyone. He has been so sweet lately. Very aware of other people's feelings and very sensitive himself. He has changed so much in a year! He is loving learning about the world. We have a little globe that we look at at nap time everyday and he points out all of the countries he has learned. I try to encourage it by giving him a reference... like, "This is Mexico, where Dora is from!" Unfortunately, Aubrey broke our first little globe, and our second one has a very neutral color scheme. He had many countries identified by their color, now he really has to remember the shape. It is good though, he loves it and I learn things too.
Baylee - In the trenches of the terrible twos. She is on a little bit of a roller coaster emotionally. She brings the greatest joys and the most difficult "issues" to the family table. We love our little Bunkin though. =) She is just such a cutie. Her hair has gotten so long, and her vocabulary continues to amaze me. There really isn't anything she can't repeat at this point, she is like a little parrot. She also always asks what things mean, which I think is neat. Jaden didn't really do that until he was older. She is always having fun. She bounces around and screams/ laughs constantly. (The opposite is true when she is upset!) Her cutest word right now is "anymore". She uses is constantly. Example: "I don't want to eat my food inemoooo" or "I don't want to hold my baby inemooooo" It cracks me up.
Aubrey - Just a bundle of joy! He is at such a fun age. I think Tony and I agree that this is our favorite "stage". He is getting into EVERYTHING! He can get on all of the furniture now, and he can open even the childproofed cabinets. I'm constantly chasing him around. He says "Wow" and "Cool" and loves to blow out candles. He's actually quite good at it. He blows matches out on the first try every time. He is so snuggly and loves to kiss and cuddle and always says "MMMM!" when he is eating. He loves his Daddy more than anyone else and runs to the door saying, "DaDa! DaDa!" when Tony gets home from work. We call him Chub Chubs and Aubrey-Man. He is a huge blessing.

Hoe Down!
We had such a fun night at our church's annual "Hoe Down". The kids had an absolute blast, and the adults had our fair share of fun as well. Somehow, I got dragged into a donut eating contest, which I lost. (Not quite so pitifully as Anne did, but still lost) =)
Anne is all show! Staci would have won again this year if she hadn't dropped the last piece.
The guys had their own contest and were cracking us up.
This picture is of Nick looking at his donut after the contest was over. That's right, he didn't get one bite out of it. Anne even did better than that!
Here are the lovebirds. Luke was so cute dressed up as "Woody"
Here is Miss Bella Reese with her friend Peter.
Jaden looking a little dazed after a very long and exhausting night!
Aubrey was not so sure about it all.
Here I am wondering why in the world I was about to compete in a contest to see how fast I could shovel down the very food I usually avoid at all costs. (Donuts are my biggest weakness and I didn't see the logic in eating one so quickly I couldn't even taste it.)
Me and my girls before the contest beginsMy camera was doing something weird, but still it is a great picture! I think she's asking Nate "Why are you looking at me like that?"
