I had a little helper with the lights this year...

He was quite enamoured with them, and didn't want to let me put them up on the tree.

But he looked so cute, I couldn't resist snapping a few photos. :)

We eventually got the job done, and now my job is to keep him away from the tree!

Jaden came in for the 700th time (it seemed) tonight and said, "Baylee is being mean again.". I, exasperated, nursing Noah and just wanting to be left alone replied, "Well Jaden, what can we learn from that?". He replied, "We can learn to be thankful.". I perked up, hopeful that my exhaustion and apathy had lead to a teachable moment by the grace of God. I said, "Ok, what can you be thankful for in this situation?". He quickly asserted, "That her kicking skills are not very good!"

We were sitting on the couch and Aubrey said, "I have something to tell you mommy!" I said, "OK, what is it?" He says, "Christmas is NOT about getting, it is about giving!" I said, "Aubrey, I am going to need you to say this to my video camera so I can use it against you in a couple of months!" :) Then we recorded this and I thought it was cute. :)

The girls have graduated to the kid table! :). Well, at least at grandmas house where there is only one high chair. :)

Jaden was doing his schoolwork and I noticed he missed one of the questions. It was a picture of a little boy praying with a big feast in front of him. Instead of thankful, Jaden marked Trustful. He is notorious for looking only at the first letter of the word and guessing. I told him he missed number 6 and he needed to re-do it. He re-read it and said, "I really thing that trustful is a word we don't use enough. Also, we should always be trustful when someone gives us food. We need to be trustful that they didn't put anything yucky in it.". It never ceases to amaze me how hard he works to get out of work!

Our little man finally cut his first tooth today. :(. He is getting so big! He immensely enjoyed teething on fresh fruits and veggies... That has been our saving grace today. :)

I have been wanting to put something up on the blog for awhile, but when I plugged my CF card in, I realized that I have not been taking many pictures lately!  That is weird... well, I have these from my cell phone, which is always around to grab a quick photo with.  Sorry for the poor quality, at least they give a little glimpse into what we have been up to lately.  :)
