It seems odd to post this today as it is raining and cold, but over the weekend the kids got to try out our new pool for the first time. Luckily they have a father who is willing to brave the cold water, because if it were up to me there would be no swimming until mid June.
Of course, they loved it!
Baylee was a little nervous at first, but after a while was kicking all around with her little tube thing grandma gave her for her birthday.
Aubrey opted to sit on the steps for the first time, but quickly joined them on their second swim. (Which was right after a long bike ride that they got home from looking like little tomatoes.) It was so hot! I think it was even worse for Aubrey because he rode in one of those little tent things you pull behind your bike and I'm not sure how much air circulation there was.

Hi Jen,
How fun! It's must be really great to have a pool (especially when summer comes). Where did you move to? I'm waiting to see pics of the new house. Miss you all (and I still miss Bakersfield). We hope to come and visit sometime soon (if I can ever get a hold of Staci). That girl is all over the place these days.
